Description

Whitfield Barracuda is a strong, correct and flashy tup. Born in spring 2021 he is sired by Woodhouse 2 42432, a tup that has had a huge influence on the Whitfield flock with many sons selling to pedigree flocks! His dam was one of Whitfield’s picks from the Marlbrook flock, a flock stalwart and always rears a true correct Kerry Lamb.

The Whitfield flock was founded in 2013 by Chris Adamson who farms on the Pennies in Lancashire and for nearly 10 years now the aim has been to breed correct, sharp true Kerry hills but maintaining vital confirmation and sheep with quality & vigor. Utilizing a number of breeding sires alongside homebred young rams allows the flock to utilize bloodlines in house as much as possible giving consistency.

The hard work of Mr Adamson was rewarded in 2021 when he was awarded 1st small flock and Reserve Overall flock in the National Flock competition.
